About the Job:

We are looking for a Mechanical Estimation Engineer with solid experience in tendering, reviewing bid documents, and quantifying mechanical works.
The engineer will be responsible for preparing competitive technical and financial proposals, analyzing market prices, and coordinating with different departments to ensure accurate and winning submissions.

Responsibilities:

• Review tender documents including drawings, BOQs, and specifications.
• Accurately quantify mechanical works from drawings and project documents.
• Analyze prices and prepare cost estimates for mechanical items.
• Prepare technical and financial proposals.
• Communicate with suppliers to obtain and compare quotations.
• Coordinate with the technical office, procurement, and site teams to collect needed data.
• Maintain and update pricing and supplier databases.
• Analyze previous projects to improve estimation accuracy and competitiveness.

Job Requirements:

• BSc in Mechanical Engineering.
• 3 to 6 years of experience in estimation or technical office within the construction industry.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Excel, and bidding software.
• Solid understanding of mechanical execution details.
• Strong analytical and attention-to-detail skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and within a team.
