Job Title: Mechanical Technical Office Engineer

Work Location: El-Dabaa Nuclear Power Plant

About the Job:

Our company is seeking to hire a Mechanical Technical Office Engineer to join our project team.
The selected engineer will be responsible for preparing and reviewing mechanical shop drawings, coordinating with various engineering disciplines, and ensuring technical compliance throughout different project stages.

Responsibilities:
  • Participate in implementing technical office policies and procedures.
  • Study project documents such as design drawings, BOQs, and project schedule.
  • Prepare shop and coordination drawings in accordance with approved standards.
  • Manage and follow up on shop drawing submissions and technical approvals.
  • Coordinate with other disciplines to resolve design conflicts.
  • Update the shop drawing log and follow up on consultant approvals.
  • Review and verify subcontractor shop drawings.
  • Prepare and review technical RFIs related to design discrepancies or clarifications.
  • Assist in solving technical issues during execution in coordination with the Technical Office Manager.
  • Monitor material requests and follow up on deliveries.
  • Draft responses to official letters from consultants or clients.
  • Participate in the preparation of technical documentation related to Variation Orders (VOs).
Job Requirements:
  • BSc in Mechanical Engineering.
  • 3 to 7 years of experience in technical office work (preferably in large-scale or infrastructure projects).
  • Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office; Revit knowledge is a plus.
  • Solid understanding of mechanical systems (HVAC, firefighting, plumbing).
  • Strong coordination and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Willing to work full-time on-site at El-Dabaa Nuclear Power Plant.
